‘Dhurandhar’ changed even after 1000 crores at the box office, edited as per the instructions of the government
New DelhiSources say, ‘Today on December 31, theaters across the country received an email from the distributors. It was told that the DCP (Digital Cinema Package) of the film has been changed. Two words in the film have been muted and a dialogue has been slightly changed. These changes have been made as per the instructions of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India. Theaters have been asked to download the new copy and play only this new version of the film from January 1, 2026.
According to information received by India Today, the word ‘Baloch’ has been muted only at one or two places in the film. According to sources, all this happened when people of Baloch community went to Gujarat High Court last week and demanded action against the film. He says that hateful remarks have been made against his community in this film. According to those who have seen the film, Sanjay Dutt speaks a dialogue, ‘You can trust a crocodile, but not Baloch.’ The Baloch community has presented this dialogue as evidence in the court and said that this is very objectionable and spreading hatred.
Talking about ‘Dhurandhar’, this film was released on December 5 in which Akshay Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and Ranveer Singh were in the main leads. Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera, Saumya Tandon, Danish Pandor were involved in supporting roles. Now the second part of this film will also come, which will be released on March 19.
