Dhurandhar crosses Rs 866 crore in Indian box office; can it beat RRR’s record
Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has shown a decent jump in its collection at the Indian box office on Sankranthi holiday, taking its domestic total to the Rs 875 crore net mark.
Dhurandhar suffered a setback with the release of The Raja Saab, which not only forced it out of several cinema halls but also ate away at its share by becoming the first choice on its sixth Friday. But following the latter getting negative reviews, the Ranveer Singh starrer went on to show a big jump in its collection on Saturday and Sunday.
As usual, Dhurandhar witnessed over 50 percent decline in its business on its sixth Monday and Tuesday. However, the movie had another decent day at the ticket counters on Wednesday, which happened to be the Makar Sankranthi holiday.
Dhurandhar has collected Rs 3.40 crore net at the Indian box office on its sixth Wednesday, taking its 41-day total collection to Rs 866.40 crore net in the domestic market. Taran Adarsh posted on his X account, “⭐️ #Dhurandhar (Week 6) Fri 3.60 cr, Sat 6.10 cr, Sun 6.85 cr, Mon 2.70 cr, Tue 2.90 cr, Wed 3.40 cr. Total: ₹ 866.40 cr. #India biz | Official Nett BOC | #Boxoffice.”
Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Dhurandhar witnesses yet another excellent day, benefitting from the #MakarSankranti holiday… The sixth Wednesday numbers are HIGHER than both Monday and Tuesday. In short, the weekday trend – even in Week 6 – remains simply superb.”

Dhurandhar has collected Rs 1,025 crore gross at the Indian box office and Rs 285 crore gross at the overseas box office in 41 days. Its worldwide gross total stands at Rs 1,310 crore. The movie has become the fifth all-time highest-grossing movie, beating Kantara 2.
SS Rajamouli’s movie RRR, starring Junior NTR and Ram Charan, is in the fourth spot in the list of all-time highest-grossing Indian movies with its grand total of Rs 1,357 crore gross in the global market. Now, it should be seen whether Dhurandhar will be able to beat this record.
