In an interview to a channel, R. Madhavan says that “Dhurandhar shows some scenes of the horrific terrorist attack in Mumbai in 2008. Rahman dacoit (Akshay Khanna) and Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal) are shown during that scene. But as soon as this scene was shot, both of them had tears in their eyes. After the shooting, the atmosphere on the sets literally changed. As soon as the shooting of the scene was over, both of them cried. It seemed that both of them were completely broken inside, it was not just an act for them, they really lived the moment.”
