The songs of Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar’ have achieved leadership positions on all major streaming charts in India. The film’s music is the most streamed track on global charts—trending at No. 1 on Billboard and No. 2 on Spotify.

The entire credit for this wonderful music goes to Rajasthan-born music composer Shashwat Sachdev, who has made the music of director Aditya Dhar’s film catchy and trending. Dhurandhar’s music created history

The music of ‘Dhurandhar’ is currently performing well on the global charts. The songs of the film are trending at number-1 on Billboard Global Chart and top-2 on Spotify Global. Although the film has been banned in Pakistan, it is getting immense love from the audience in India, America and other countries. The entire credit for this musical success goes to music composer Shashwat Sachdev, born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, who has created a modern and mass appealing sound for the film.

Shashwat Sachdev was born in Jaipur. He entered the world of music at a very young age. At the age of just 3, he started learning Hindustani classical music. Along with this, he also gained deep knowledge in Western classical music and graduated in Classical Piano from Trinity College of London.

In the year 2011, Shashwat started his career in Hollywood. After working on some projects there, he returned to India in 2016 and started making his mark in Bollywood.

Working with big projects and big names

After returning to India, Shashwat Sachdev established himself as a composer in Bollywood in 2017 through Anushka Sharma’s film ‘Phillauri’. After this, he gave music in films like ‘Veere Di Wedding’, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, ‘Article 370’, ‘Attack: Part 1’, ‘Tejas’, ‘Uljh’ and ‘Kesari Chapter 2’. Shashwat is among the few music composers who have brought together big singers like Arijit Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, Karan Aujla, Sonu Nigam, Vishal Dadlani, B Praak, Jubin Nautiyal, Shilpa Rao, Jasmine Sandlas and Raja Kumari on one platform.

Shashwat Sachdev got real recognition from the film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ directed by Aditya Dhar. For this film, he was awarded the National Film Award and IIFA Award for Best Background Score. Apart from this he got Filmfare RD. Burman has also received the Best New Music Talent Award. Shashwat Sachdev did not limit himself to just Bollywood.

Recently, he worked with two-time Oscar-winning veteran music composer Hans Zimmer and Emmy Award winner James Everingham on the title theme of the British series ‘Verdi’. With this project he became the first Indian music composer to co-compose with Hans Zimmer.
