In this video, she accused many famous actresses like Deepika Padukone, Kajol, Bipasha Basu and Priyanka Chopra of getting cosmetic surgery done. Dhruv said in a very dramatic manner, “The beauty you think is God’s gift is actually the doctor’s gift!” He mentioned several cosmetic procedures like nose job, lip fillers, fat removal, jaw line augmentation, face lift and botox.
‘The truth about skin lightening’
In his video, Dhruv took a dig at Bollywood and Hollywood stars and said that these stars make common people feel unsafe with their surgeries. Talking specifically about Deepika, he claimed that in the beginning of the career of many actresses, their skin color looked dark, but now they look quite fair. Dhruv said sarcastically, “When they are asked how the complexion became clear, the answer is that earlier they used to stay in the sun more, but now they don’t.” But Dhruv rejected this completely and said that neither any cream nor avoiding the sun is the secret. Actually skin lightening treatments like glutathione injections are the reason for this.
Uproar on social media
Dhruv posted this video on YouTube on December 25, after which it quickly went viral on Reddit. Deepika’s fans strongly supported her on social media. One fan wrote, “The pictures look different because of lighting and editing. I don’t think Deepika has done any treatment.” At the same time, some people seemed to agree with Dhruv’s claims and started questioning the ‘artificial beauty’ of Bollywood.
