Did RSS-BJP’s praise prove costly for Digvijay Singh? Rahul Gandhi publicly slammed

A very interesting incident was witnessed on the occasion of the party’s foundation day at the Congress headquarters ‘Indira Bhawan’ in New Delhi. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi publicly took a jibe at veteran party leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh. Actually, Rahul Gandhi expressed his objection to Digvijay Singh on a tweet made about RSS and BJP, but his style was completely funny.

Rahul’s advice amidst laughter and jokes

According to an NDTV report, when the two leaders came face to face during the Foundation Day programme, Rahul Gandhi shook hands with Digvijay Singh and smiled and said, “Yesterday you misbehaved.” On hearing this phrase of Rahul Gandhi, laughter echoed from all the leaders present there. On this occasion, former Congress President Sonia Gandhi was also present there and after listening to Rahul, she too could not stop laughing. After this, there was a light conversation between Rahul and Digvijay for some time.

After all, what was that social media post?

The reason behind all this laughter and fun was the social media post of Digvijay Singh, which he shared on ‘X’ (earlier Twitter) on 27th December. In this post, Digvijay Singh had praised the organizational structure of RSS and BJP. He had shared an old picture, in which the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and veteran leader LK Advani are seen.

What did Digvijay say on the strength of RSS?

Digvijay Singh had written in his post that this picture is really very impressive. He emphasized how a grassroots volunteer of RSS and an ordinary worker of BJP rose by sitting on the floor at the feet of their leaders and later became the Chief Minister of the state and the Prime Minister of the country. Digvijay had written that it shows the strength of an organization and how a worker can reach the top. Rahul Gandhi did not like this ‘Sangh Prem’ of Digvijay Singh and he interrupted him in a humorous manner.
