In Luksar village of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh Nitin Nagar Many sensational revelations have come to light during the police investigation into the brutal murder that took place in broad daylight. Investigation has revealed that this entire murder was planned to avenge the murder of a young man named Vinay in the year 2024. After shooting Nitin, the accused also slit his throat. After the murder, Instagram status ‘Revenge complete’ was posted on social media.
According to the police, the deceased Nitin Nagar had murdered Vinay in 2024, due to which he had to go to jail. To take revenge of the same incident, Vinay’s brother and his maternal uncle Rajesh together conspired to murder Nitin. Investigation has revealed that this revenge plan was made about two years ago, but the accused were looking for the right opportunity. After Nitin came out of jail, he implemented the murder plan.
Police interrogation also revealed that both Nitin and Vinay used to do lighting work in the weekly market held in the village. During this period, there were many disputes and fights between the two. Initially it was a minor dispute, but gradually it turned into hostility. This rivalry gave rise to incidents like the murder of first Vinay and then Nitin.

According to the investigation, the accused had conducted recce of Nitin’s activities a day before the murder. It is alleged that a person living in the neighborhood was keeping an eye on Nitin and was conveying information about his every activity to the other accused. On the complaint of Nitin’s wife, a case was registered against seven people including Nitin, Jeete, Sachin, Vipin, uncle Rajesh of the village. The police took action and arrested the first three accused, while the main accused Sachin and Vipin were caught after an encounter on Wednesday night. Police have also recovered illegal pistols and cartridges from them.
Posted status on Instagram after the incident
After Nitin’s murder, a status that went viral on Instagram gave a new direction to the investigation. Words like ‘revenge complete’ and ‘live with gun, kill with gun’ were written in it and a picture of Vinay, who was killed in 2024, was also put up. The police is now trying to find out from which ID this status was posted and which people played a role in it. The family members of the deceased allege that the accused were already giving threats and were openly accepting revenge after the murder.
According to Sudhir Kumar, Additional DCP of Greater Noida, Sachin and Vipin had fired several bullets at Nitin Nagar during the murder. After the post-mortem, Nitin’s last rites were performed late on Tuesday evening in the village amid tight police security arrangements. In view of the tense situation in the village, heavy police force is still deployed so that no untoward incident happens. Police say that this murder was completely done out of revenge and on the basis of social media evidence and interrogation of the accused, further revelations can be made in the case. The search for other absconding accused is ongoing.
