Dilip of Nagaur died in Iran-Israel war, missile attack on merchant navy ship standing at the port of Oman.
At present, there is a war situation in the Middle East. The joint attack by America and Israel on Iran is going on. The increasing attacks amid Israel-Iran tension have made the situation serious, which has increased the concern of Indian citizens and their families living there. Hundreds of migrants from Rajasthan are also working in other countries including Oman, UAE, who are scared by the echo of recent drone and missile attacks.
Amidst the attacks on Iran by America and Israel, there is constant concern among the families of NRIs. Many countries have closed their airspace due to this war, due to which passenger traffic has completely stopped.
At the same time, Dilip, a resident of Khivtana village of Degana, Nagaur, Rajasthan, also died in this war. Dilip used to work in the Merchant Navy and he had left to return to work again on 22 January. Dilip used to work on the ship of SK S Krishi Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. During the war, his ship was standing at the port of Oman and during this time Dilip and Bihar resident pilot Ashish Kumar were killed in a missile attack.
Dilip’s family members told that they had talked to Dilip on February 28 and on March 1, they were informed about this incident by the company. However, Dilip’s body has not been found yet. There is no one else to earn in Dilip’s house. Father is a heart patient. There is mourning in the house after receiving information about this incident.
The family and villagers say that after this incident, till now neither the local administration has come to them nor any information has been received from the government.
