Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh surprised fans by inviting British singer-composer Ed Sheeran on stage to perform with him during his concert in Birmingham, UK. Dosanjh performed in Birmingham on Sunday as part of his “Dil-Luminati Tour 2024”, during which Sheeran also accompanied him for some time on vocals and guitar.
The Punjabi singer shared a video of him and Sheeran in a post on Instagram. In the video, they are seen dancing to their superhit songs “Naina” and “Shape of You” from the 2024 film “Crew”. In the caption of the post, he wrote, “Mere bhai ne samaan bandh diya in Birmingham, kya raat tha. Love and respect. Thank you Birmingham for this love. “
Sheeran performed with Dosanjh during one of his concerts in Mumbai a few months ago. Sheeran also posted a video of the two on social media during this event in Birmingham. The British singer said that I am thankful to my brother Diljit Dosanjh in Birmingham, what a wonderful atmosphere it was, thank you for inviting me here.
Later, Dosanjh shared a video in which he is seen meeting Sheeran backstage and hugging him in the green room. Dosanjh will be performing in India next month. He will kick off his 'Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024' on October 26 in New Delhi, followed by Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata and other cities. It will conclude with a show in Guwahati on December 29.
