Note that this amusement park called Jurassic Park was launched in 2010. This park is opened in the area surrounded by trees behind the Digha Science Center. There, the presentation of the origin of dinosaurs, its evolution, life style, extinction-stages, all through fancy lights and sounds fascinated the audience. It became very attractive to tourists in a very short time. However, the park was closed a decade ago due to some mechanical reasons. To give a new dimension to the earlier popularity, the authorities have moved forward to modernize the park.

At that time, several artificial trees were planted in the park, starting with palm trees, suitable for the environment in which the dinosaurs roamed. Spectators could hear the dinosaur’s running and its booming calls with a special light and sound system. Information was recorded on the walls of the walkthrough along with various illustrations so that tourists could learn about the dinosaurs in detail. But, after the closure of the park, it fell into disrepair for a long time. The dinosaur models are falling apart. Officials said existing models of dinosaurs are planned to be newly maintained and reconstructed as well as creating a richer experience for the visitors. Through advanced technology and light and sound, the wonderful chapter of the prehistoric world will be presented in a new way. 3-D screens will be installed in the park. On that screen, the origin, lifestyle, evolution, extinction of dinosaurs will be revealed. First there were moving dinosaurs. Now it won’t move. Each dinosaur will have a switch on it. Visitors can learn about that species of dinosaur by pressing the switch. Roads have been constructed for the visitors. There are railings on both sides. The work of making the walkthrough through which the tourists will reach the park is also going on fast.
