13 cm cyst in stomach, surgery will be done soon

Shoaib told on Saturday that Deepika was having mild stomach pain for the last two days, which increased on Friday. After this he went to the doctor and got a CT scan done. Investigation revealed that a 13 cm cyst had formed in Deepika’s stomach. He said, “Today I spent the day making rounds of the hospital. Till yesterday everything was fine, but when the pain increased, we immediately got tested.”

Anxiety increased due to shoulder pain

Deepika told that along with stomach ache, she was also feeling pain in her left shoulder, due to which the family became worried. However, doctors say that shoulder pain is not related to the cyst. Shoaib clarified that apart from the cyst, all other reports are normal. He told that at present the doctors are considering it as a cyst and it is in the initial stage. This was not visible in the PET scan conducted in December.

No major surgery, will have to stay in hospital for 3-4 days

The matter of relief is that no major surgery will be done. The doctor will “burn away” this cyst through a procedure. Deepika will have to remain hospitalized for 3-4 days. Shoaib told that according to doctors, in such a situation there is a possibility of cyst formation again. This is why regular follow-ups are very important.

Deepika said that initially she was scared, but she is relieved as the problem was discovered in time. “Doctors always talk about follow-up and medicines, but when something has to happen, it happens,” he said. Shoaib also appealed to the fans to pray and said, “This is life… till yesterday everything was fine, we were laughing and joking.”
