Indian television actress Dipika Kakar has shared an emotional update after the recurrence of a cyst near her liver, which has again impacted her ongoing treatment journey
The In-laws Simar Ka actress had recently undergone another medical procedure after doctors detected a 1.3 cm cyst near her liver. The development had come as a setback during her recovery phase from liver cancer treatment.
In her latest vlog, she had spoken about how the situation had affected her daily life and routine, especially her time with her son, Ruhaan. She had said, “There are so many things going on in my mind due to my illness… I am not able to give Ruhaan time sometimes.”
She had also mentioned the emotional pressure of ongoing tests and medical discussions. She had said, “We have been discussing the further course of treatment, but I didn’t expect this recurrence to be so fast.”
Dipika had shared that fatigue and hospital visits had made her routine difficult, and she often needed rest during recovery days.
She had also spoken about her emotional state, saying, “The recurrence that happened with the 1.3 cm cyst has shaken me. I am a little scared now that it shouldn’t happen again.”
Doctors had earlier treated her for a major liver condition, during which a significant portion of her liver was removed. Since then, she had continued follow-up treatments and regular medical monitoring.
Her latest health update had drawn concern from fans, who had continued to send support messages on social media as she moved forth with her recovery journey.
