Directed by Akash Srivatsa, known for his Shivaji Surathkal films, Daiji is based on real-life incidents from producer Ravi Kashyap

The film has completed filming, and is currently in post-production, with work underway on VFX and re-recording. The makers are expected to announce the release date once these processes are completed.

Shot across multiple locations, including Bournemouth and Edinburgh in the UK, as well as Varanasi, Sakleshpur, Madikeri, and Bengaluru, Daiji reflects a wide visual scope. The cinematography is handled by Sreesha Kuduvalli, with background score by Judah Sandhy.

Placed as a film with a different stylistic treatment, Daiji looks to combine real-life inspiration with a broader cinematic scale.
