Ranchi: In the liquor scam case, ACB team raided Vadodara, Gujarat and arrested Jagan Tukaram Desai. Desai is the director of M/s Marson Innovative Security Private Limited, a company that supplies manpower to the liquor business in Jharkhand. After the arrest, the ACB team presented him in the local court. Desai got permission on Saturday to bring him to Ranchi on transit remand. The ACB team will reach Ranchi on Sunday with him and then present him in the court and take further legal action.

Did not appear: ACB had started investigation against two companies involved in supplying manpower on fake bank guarantees. Because both the companies together had caused a loss of more than Rs 38 crore to the Jharkhand government. Apart from Marsan Company, the name of another company Vision was included in this. During the investigation of the case, the ACB team had for the first time issued a notice to three directors of Vision Company on 26 May 2025. In which the names of Jagat Tukaram Desai, Kamal Jagat Desai and Sheetal Jagat Desai were included, but all three did not come for questioning. After this the notice was issued again for the second time. He was made an accused in the case after facts related to the allegations were found during the investigation of the case. Investigation of the case found that the company had submitted fake bank guarantee to get the work. In this way, a loss of Rs 25,46,66,313 was caused to the government by the company by taking work and not depositing the money after selling liquor.
