Dirty Angels Trailer Sets Release Date for Eva Green & Maria Bakalova Action Movie

Lionsgate has released the official Dirty Angels trailer and release date for its newest R-rated action thriller, which will be led by Golden Globe nominee Eva Green and Oscar nominee Maria Bakalova. The film will center a unit of all-female soldiers tasked to save a group of teenagers caught between two terrorist groups.

“When a group of schoolgirls is taken hostage in Afghanistan, an American soldier named Jake joins a unit of all-women commandos to liberate them,” reads the official synopsis. “The plan: Gain the trust of the terrorists by posing as members of a relief organization. But double-crosses, tragedies, and the ghosts of Jake’s past complicate the rescue in this do-or-die mission.”

When is the Dirty Angels release date?

The Dirty Angels movie is scheduled to make its debut on December 13 in select theaters and on digital platforms. The cast also includes Ruby Rose, Reza Brojerdi, Rona-Lee Shimon, Jojo T. Gibbs, Aziz Çapkurt, Hadi Khanjanpour, Christopher Backus, Laëtitia Eïdo, Emily Bruni, Edmund Kingsley, and more.

The film is directed by Martin Campbell, who co-wrote the screenplay with Alissa Sullivan Haggis, Jonas McCord, and Gene Quintano. This marks the latest collaboration between Green and Campbell, after previously working on 2006’s James Bond movie Casino Royale. It is produced by Moshe Diamant, Yariv Lerner, and Robert Van Norden, with Boaz Davidson, Jeffrey Greenstein, Avi Lerner, Darina Pavlova, Lonnie Ramati, Trevor Short, and Jonathan Yunger serving as executive producers.
