Kanpur, . After a fight between the couple under Bithoor police station area, the wife attacked her husband 10 to 15 times with a sharp weapon. After this, he called his in-laws living at some distance from the house and informed them about the false road accident. The family members reached the spot and took the young man to the hospital. Where he died on Thursday during treatment. Family members told that the daughter-in-law is also addicted to drinking alcohol. Because of the daily fights between the two, the son and daughter-in-law were separated from the house about four years ago. The police have sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem and started investigation.
Ravishankar Savita (45), alias Pappu, a resident of Tikra town of Bithoor, used to work as a tile-stone installer. He lived away from his family with his wife Veerangana and four-year-old son Jain. It is alleged that the husband and wife often quarreled among themselves after drinking alcohol. On Wednesday also there was a dispute between the two over some issue. After this there was a fight between the two. Later the woman hit Ravi Shankar on the head 10 to 15 times with a sharp object. In which he was seriously injured.
After this, the woman herself called her in-laws and informed that her husband had met with an accident. The family members, who received information, took him to a private hospital. Where considering his condition he was referred to Hallet. Where he died during treatment.
Bithoor police station in-charge Prem Narayan Vishwakarma said that the family members said that the husband and wife often used to fight after drinking alcohol. Forensic team has been called in the case and evidence has been collected from the spot. Based on the complaint of the family members, a case has been registered and the absconding woman is being searched.
