The work of the first phase of Noida International Airport located in Jewar, Greater Noida has been completed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it on Saturday. It is also known as Jewar Airport. With its launch, connectivity of many districts of UP with Delhi is going to improve. Passengers living in many districts including Mathura, Agra, Bulandshahr and Khurja will no longer need to come to Indira Gandhi Airport in Delhi to catch flights.

Noida International Airport is one of the most modern airports in the country. There are preparations to start flights from Jewar International Airport to 12 major cities in the first phase. The flight schedule will be announced soon after the inauguration, while there is a plan to increase international connectivity in the second phase, which will provide great relief to the passengers of NCR. This airport will prove to be no less than a boon for Agra, Mathura, Bulandshahr, Khurja, Ghaziabad and Noida-Greater Noida.

Money and time will be saved

Currently, passengers from these districts have to come to Delhi’s ‘Indira Gandhi Airport’ to take flights. Due to which both their time and money gets wasted, but after the inauguration of Jewar International Airport, their journey will become easier and cheaper than before. Not only this, there will also be a reduction in the number of vehicles going towards IGI Airport in Delhi. Jewar Airport will become the only airport with 5 runways in future.
