On Monday, officials and workers of Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh in the district paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed District Magistrate Charcha Gaur at the Collectorate office. During this, the representatives of the organization welcomed the District Magistrate in a traditional manner and discussed the issues related to the development of the district and public interest. During the meeting, the organization felicitated the District Magistrate by presenting him a bow and arrow, a traditional tribal cap and a memento of Ram Darbar as a symbol of the native culture.

On this occasion, the officials of the organization presented their views on issues related to the development of the district, social harmony and public interest. On this occasion, Nageshwar Prasad Gond (State Minister), Kiran Nand Giri (District President, Kinnar Cell), Pooja Kinnar (District Vice President), Bijendra Kumar Mishra (District President, Cow Protection Cell), Bhoomi Sharan Kharwar (District General Secretary), Ramsurat Baiga (District Convenor) and other officials were present. Young social worker Himanshu Gupta also informed the District Magistrate about the cow shed and other complex problems of Chopan Nagar.

Let us tell you that the commendable initiative taken by Himanshu and his team to prevent accidents by giving radium-laced leashes to the stray animals roaming around the state highway is still taken as a good example among the area residents. Not only this, from time to time free food has also been provided to the poor passengers at Chopan Railway Station. Himanshu’s image is known in the area as a good and honest social worker. At the end of the meeting, the officials raised slogans of Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh Zindabad and Jai Shri Ram. Meanwhile, District Magistrate Charcha Gaur expressed his gratitude to everyone and reiterated his commitment to serve the district.
