District Magistrate celebrated girl’s birth anniversary in Medical College District Hospital

Gonda. In order to honor the daughters in the district and give a positive message about their bright future, an emotional program was organized in the delivery wing and ward of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department of the District Hospital Medical College, Gonda. On the auspicious occasion of the delivery of Mrs. Poonam Devi, wife of Mr. Dinesh Kumar, resident of village Besia Chain, District Magistrate Mrs. Priyanka Niranjan herself reached the hospital and celebrated the birth anniversary of the girl by cutting the cake along with the family members.

On this occasion, the District Magistrate extended hearty wishes and congratulations to the family on the birth of a newborn girl and said that daughters are an invaluable heritage of the family, society and nation. He said that it is the collective responsibility of all of us to provide equal opportunities, better education and safe environment to daughters. He called upon the family members to be determined for better upbringing and education of the newborn girl. During the program, on the request of the family members, the District Magistrate named the newborn girl ‘Anugrahita’.

Hearing this name, the family members expressed happiness and expressed gratitude to the District Magistrate. On this occasion, the District Magistrate presented a silver bowl and spoon as a good wish for the new born baby. Besides, assistance amount was also provided to the girl’s mother, Mrs. Poonam Devi, which showed the sensitivity and spirit of cooperation of the administration towards the family.

There was an atmosphere of enthusiasm and joy in the hospital premises during the birth anniversary of the girl child. The doctors, health workers and officials present also congratulated the family and wished for the healthy and bright future of the newborn. The program gave the message of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ and further strengthening the spirit of girl respect. Everyone congratulated the family on the birth of a newborn girl and reiterated their commitment towards the respect of daughters and their all-round development.
