District Magistrate held monthly review meeting of non-tax, gave instructions to speed up revenue collection

District Magistrate B.N. Singh held a monthly review meeting of revenue programs and non-tax in the Collectorate auditorium on Monday. Due to lack of ranking in the CM dashboard and negligence in purchasing paddy, the District Magistrate instructed the Deputy RMO to issue an adverse entry. During this, the District Magistrate said that proper arrangements should be made available to the farmer brothers at the paddy purchasing centers for purchasing paddy, there should not be any laxity or carelessness in this.

During the meeting, the District Magistrate said that the dues of retired employees should be paid on time and there should not be any laxity in this. In the meeting, the District Magistrate gave instructions to the concerned to fulfill the target of recovery as per the standards, to take recovery action against defaulters at Tehsil levels, to do regular matching of RCs and to ensure quality disposal of public complaints while securing government lands.

He said that the target collection work should be expedited as per the month fixed by the government, so that the progress of revenue collection can be accelerated. There should be no laxity in this work, responsibility should be fixed for those who do not meet the target. He said that in order to do the work of tehsils in a timely and better manner, the Deputy District Magistrate and Tehsildar revenue personnel should discharge their responsibilities strictly. He said that revenue cases should be resolved in a time-bound manner, land disputes should be resolved on the spot, care should also be taken that injustice is not done to the public under any circumstances.

The District Magistrate directed the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department to keep checking the food items sold in the market, so that no adulteration happens, for this, the raiding process should be expedited and whatever standards and formulas have been set by the government, they will ensure to be followed in letter and spirit.

Additional District Magistrate (V/R) Vagish Kumar Shukla, Deputy District Magistrate Duddhi Nikhil Yadav, Deputy District Magistrate Obra Vivek Kumar Singh, Deputy District Magistrate Ghorawal Ashish Tripathi, District Minority Welfare Officer Sudhanshu Shekhar Sharma, Additional District Information Officer Vinay Kumar Singh, Administrative Officer Ramlal Yadav and other concerned were present in the meeting.
