District Magistrate inspected primary and upper primary schools, laid emphasis on quality education

The District Magistrate conducted a surprise inspection of the primary school Sahajan Khurd, upper primary school Sahajan Kala and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School of the district. During this, he took detailed stock of the teaching-learning system in schools, attendance of students, mid-day meal, cleanliness and basic facilities.
The District Magistrate reached the classes and interacted with the children and got information about their educational progress. He directed the teachers to provide quality and regular education to all the children and there should not be any laxity in teaching and learning. He said that special attention should be given to the basic academic competencies of the students, so that their overall development can be ensured.
While giving instructions to further improve the cleanliness system in the school premises, the District Magistrate asked to ensure regular monitoring of toilets, drinking water and other facilities. He further said that there will be no compromise on the quality of education and the systems will be strengthened through regular inspections.
Information was taken about the residential and educational facilities being provided to the girl students in Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School and instructions were given to the concerned teachers for necessary improvements. On this occasion, District Basic Education Officer Mukul Anandand Pandey and other concerned officers were present.
