Cultural program and exhibition of public welfare schemes organized on Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day
Bhadohi- In the three-day program 'Uttar Pradesh Day-2025' organized on the foundation day of Uttar Pradesh, District Panchayat President Anirudh Tripathi, Additional District Magistrate Kunwar Virendra Maurya, Chief Development Officer Dr. Shivakant Dwivedi, Block Chief Abholi Priyanka Bind, Suriava Anita Gautam, The island was lit at Vikas Bhawan by Digh three-tier president Manoj Mishra and the present district officials.
District Development Achievement Book containing the achievements of various departments was released. The state level program organized in Lucknow was telecast live. On this occasion, everyone was inspired by the puppet dance organized by the Women Welfare Department on women empowerment with focus on “National Girl Child Day”. The oath of TV Free India campaign was also administered.
Addressing the program organized on 'Uttar Pradesh Day-2025', District Panchayat President Anirudh Tripathi said that Uttar Pradesh has a proud cultural tradition. He underlined the various stages of establishment of Uttar Pradesh from modern times to the present.
Additional District Magistrate Kunwar Virendra Maurya said that Uttar Pradesh is known for its unique art culture and traditions. Today Uttar Pradesh has a special place in the progress of the country. He threw light on the various dimensions of Uttar Pradesh which is on the path of progress. He said that the land of Uttar Pradesh is rich in its diverse literature, music and art culture.
Chief Development Officer Dr. Shivakant Dwivedi stressed the usefulness and relevance of Uttar Pradesh Day. Highlighting the achievements of Uttar Pradesh, which is on the path of progress of the country, he stressed on the effective implementation of Antyodaya based public welfare schemes of the government and administration. He highlighted the innovations in trade, technology, tourism and tradition, touching new heights in the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh.
By reciting the special composition “Yes I am Uttam Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh” written by District Information Officer Dr. Pankaj Kumar on Uttar Pradesh Day, the colorful diversity and characteristics of the state's glorious art, culture and literature were highlighted.
On this occasion, the exhibition of records related to the development journey of Uttar Pradesh since its inception till now, organized by the Information and Public Relations Department, was appreciated by the above mentioned guests by cutting the ribbon and viewing it. District Information Officer lovingly presented “Uttar Pradesh: Story of Change” and various books based on Uttar Pradesh to the guests. Changes in the administrative structure of Uttar Pradesh – Bengal Presidency, North West Province, United Province of Agra. Gave information about the development journey till Awadh and Uttar Pradesh on 24 January 1950.
During the cultural program organized on 'Uttar Pradesh Day-2025', scholars presented their views and dimensions. Under the cultural program, folk singers Vashishtha Mishra, Ramesh Bhanwara, Ajay Mishra, Sheshmani Saroj, Dr. Krishna Avtar Tripathi Rahi, students and teachers of Basic and Social Welfare Department schools including Composite School Gyanpur were given commendation for their excellent performances. On this occasion, toolkits, certificates, house keys, house certificates etc. were distributed by the honorable guests to more than 100 beneficiaries of various departments. District Industries Department distributed toolkit to various beneficiaries under Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Abhiyan Yojana, PM Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana, sewing machines, toolkit distribution under One District One Product Scheme, 10 women group Sakhis under Deputy Commissioner Self Employment, under Ayushman Bharat Scheme. Golden card distribution to beneficiaries, distribution to beneficiaries of various schemes of Labor Department and Horticulture Department, house keys to five beneficiaries of PM Awas Gramin, 5 under District Disability Empowerment Officer. Disability pension/leprosy pension/acceptance certificate to the beneficiaries, distribution of household certificate to 10 beneficiaries, Krishi Samman Nidhi Yojana by the Deputy Director of Agriculture and five beneficiaries who have made significant contribution in the agriculture sector and excellent work in the education department by the District Basic Education Officer. 10 talents were honored.
Based on “Theme of Uttar Pradesh Day-2025: Uttar Pradesh on the path of heritage and progress”, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Jal Jeevan Mission, Khadi Village Industries, Agriculture Department, Child Development and Nutrition Department, Forest Department, District Enterprise and Promotion Center , Panchayati Raj Department, Information Department, Social Welfare Department, Labor Department, Horticulture Department and other departments made the public aware about the public welfare schemes. Various departments made the public aware of the state government's Respect for the stalls/camps set up to make people aware of public welfare schemes. The guests took information while observing.
