Diwali Celebration in J&K: The festival of Diwali was celebrated with great pomp across the country on Thursday. On this occasion, people decorated their homes, shops and establishments with colorful lights and lamps and burst fireworks in the evening. Like other parts of the country, the festival of Diwali was celebrated in Jammu and Kashmir also. Army soldiers also celebrated the festival of Diwali with great pomp in the valley. During this time, people across the country decorated their homes with lights and colorful lights. Along with this, fireworks and sweets were also distributed along with the worship. Along with this, community programs were organized at many places.

Diwali celebration seen in Jammu and Kashmir also

Celebrations were held in Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Diwali. People celebrated Diwali with great pomp in the Union Territory. On this occasion, 2500 earthen lamps were lit in the Raghunath temple located in Kathua, Jammu.

Soldiers celebrated Diwali in Baramulla

While in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel celebrated Diwali with SSB jawans and their families at Pandit Colony in Odina, Pattan. During this, soldiers were seen bursting firecrackers and lighting sparklers.

Diwali festival celebrated on LOC also

Diwali was also celebrated along the Line of Control (LOC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army soldiers deployed in security here celebrated the festival of Diwali. He celebrated Diwali with his fellow soldiers away from his family. Let us tell you that army soldiers have been deployed in the very sensitive Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Romeo Force also celebrated Diwali

Romeo Force Rashtriya Rifles battalion of the Indian Army also celebrated Diwali. Romeo Force soldiers celebrated Diwali in the streets of Tapa Peer and DKG Dehra of Manyal village in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. He celebrated Diwali with the local people.
