Diwali Recipe: Ingredients

  • Flour-2 cups
  • Flour- 1/2 cup
  • Ghee- 2 tsp
  • Kasuri Methi- 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  • Fennel-1 tsp
  • Cumin- 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida- 1/4 tsp
  • salt as per taste

Method

  • 1- To make Masala Mathri, first sift the flour and flour well. Now add salt to it and add Kasuri Methi after crushing it with hands.
  • 2- Now add black pepper powder, fennel, coriander powder, asafoetida and heated ghee. Mix everything together and knead a soft dough with lukewarm water.
  • 3- Now keep it aside for 15 minutes. Now make small balls and roll them one by one like a puri and make marks in it with a knife so that it does not swell like a puri. Now fry all the mathris.
