DM inaugurated the workshop “Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign” with divinity and grandeur.

Bhadohi – The ambitious scheme “Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan” has been started by the state government, in the sequence of which a district level mega workshop was organized in KNPG Auditorium, Gyanpur. The workshop was inaugurated by District Magistrate Vishal Singh, Chief Development Officer Dr. Shivakant Dwivedi. In the said workshop from 11 am to 4 pm, more than 400 people from different departments (such as ITI, Khadi Village Industries, RSETI, NRLM, Jan Shikshan Sansthan etc.) Under this, online/offline registration of the candidates trained was done and they were given training through workshops. Addressing the youth, District Magistrate Vishal Singh said that under the Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign, the youth should choose the industry of their choice, make a project and submit it to the District Industries Office and get an interest-free and guarantee-free loan of up to ₹ 5 lakh from the bank. . He said that the aim of the district administration is to develop every village as a cluster. The District Magistrate said that the focus is being on “every step towards entrepreneurship, every youth towards self-reliance”.

The Chief Development Officer said that under the CM Yuva Abhiyan, employment opportunities will be provided to one lakh minimum 8th pass youth aged between 21 to 40 years and a total of 10 lakh youth in 10 years.

After that, detailed information about the scheme was provided through PPT in two phases by the experts Ravi Gupta and Ravindra Chaudhary Knowledge Partner who came from Lucknow and information about the scheme was provided by Deputy Commissioner Industries Bhadohi Ashutosh Sahay Pathak and information about the scheme was given by various departments. An appeal was made to the trained candidates falling under this category to register in maximum numbers. The candidates present by participating in the said workshop were made aware/encouraged regarding the said campaign of the state government by the Deputy Commissioner Industries Office staff, bank officers and officers of other related departments etc. Detailed information about the scheme was given by the Chief Development Officer.

Deputy Commissioner Industries Ashutosh Sahay Pathak informed the people of the district that the government has promulgated “Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign”. In mission mode for the next 10 years with the aim of setting up 01 lakh new micro units every year to generate more employment and attract capital investment in the state. Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan has been formulated to fulfill the important objective of setting up a total of 10 lakh new micro units within the time period.

Thus, the main objective of the scheme is to create employment in rural and urban areas through the establishment of new micro enterprises by connecting the educated and trained youth of Uttar Pradesh with self-employment. To be eligible under the scheme, the applicant should be a resident of the district, the age limit of the applicant should be 21 years to 40 years, the educational qualification of the applicant should be minimum 8 passed. Intermediate passed or equivalent will be given preference and the applicant should be eligible for government run training schemes like Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana, One District One Product Training and Toolkit Scheme, Scheduled Caste/Tribe Training Scheme, Other Backward Class Training Scheme, run by Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission. Must be trained in skill upgradation etc. or have skill related certificate course, diploma, degree from a recognized school or educational institution.

Under the scheme, grant will be determined on loans for projects in industry and service sector up to a maximum of Rs 05.00 lakh. In units with project cost more than Rs 5.00 lakh up to Rs 10.00 lakh, the beneficiary will have to arrange loan/finance from his own sources, against which no grant will be payable. The beneficiary will be given 10 percent of the project cost or a maximum of Rs 05.00, whichever is less, as margin money subsidy. 100% interest subsidy on the loan taken from the bank/financial institution against the project cost or a maximum of Rs. 05.00 lakh, whichever is less, will be given for the next 4 years from the date of financing. The amount required for CGTMSE coverage will also be borne by the state government for 4 years.
