Do teeth get electric shock after drinking water? Don’t worry, these household items are the best friends of teeth.

News India Live, Digital Desk: Be it sipping hot tea in winter or cold ice cream in summer, the real pleasure becomes grim when it creates a sharp tingling sensation (sensitivity) in the teeth as soon as it enters the mouth. It feels as if someone has pulled a vein. Many of us have stopped eating our favorite things due to this fear. In common language it is called “teeth feeling hot or cold”. This often happens when the upper layer of the teeth (enamel) gets worn out or the gums become weak. It’s okay to watch toothpaste commercials on TV, but sometimes the real cure lies in our kitchen itself. Let us know today those home remedies which our grandmothers have been using for years and which are really effective. 1. Salt and Water: The cheapest, surest recipe. As simple as it sounds, it works just as well. Salt is a natural antiseptic. How to do: Mix half a teaspoon of rock salt (or plain salt) in a glass of lukewarm water. Gargle with this twice a day. It reduces swelling of gums and removes sensitivity of teeth.2. Guava Leaves: Natural PainkillerIf you have a guava tree near your house, then you are in luck. Young and soft guava leaves are a panacea for toothache and tingling. How to do: Wash two-three clean leaves and chew them slowly in the mouth. The juice that comes out of it directly calms the nerves. You can also boil the leaves and gargle with that water.3. Clove Oil: People of old times always used to say to press clove in the mouth in case of toothache. It also works wonders in tinkering. The properties present in cloves numb the nerves, providing instant relief. How to do: Apply clove oil to a small piece of cotton and place it on the tooth where the tingling sensation is occurring. The pain will disappear within 15-20 minutes.4. Garlic: It is spicy but useful. It may seem difficult to chew a clove of garlic with a little salt, but it is at the forefront in killing bacteria. If the tingling sensation is due to infection, garlic will remove it from the roots. A little advice: Apart from these tips, keep one more thing in mind that do not rub your brush too hard. Use a “soft” brush and do not brush immediately after citrus fruits (such as lemon), as this can further weaken the enamel. These small changes and home remedies will bring back your “smile”. Now don’t be afraid, enjoy the ice cream!
