Diaphragmatic breathing should always be started while lying down, because in this position the body remains completely relaxed. Once you get the hang of it, you can do it sitting or standing. Its steps are very easy:

First of all, lie down straight on your back in a quiet place.

Place one hand on your chest and the other hand just below the chest i.e. on the upper part of the stomach. By placing your hands you will have an accurate idea of ​​the speed of breathing.

Now slowly take a long and deep breath in through the nose. Keep in mind that while breathing, your chest should remain stable and the stomach should expand upwards/outwards.

After this, exhale slowly through the mouth or nose. While exhaling, you should feel that your stomach is slowly moving inwards.
