Myorpur / Sonbhadra –

Once again serious questions have been raised on the functioning of the health department in Mayorpur area. Due to the absence of a doctor in the Ayushman Arogya Mandir located in Sangobandh, the treatment of patients is dependent on the pharmacist. Local people say that they have never seen a doctor appointed here. According to him, for years, pharmacists have been examining the patients and giving medicines and the villagers consider them as doctors.

Some knowledgeable villagers say that if doctors are posted here then when do they come? Who examines the patients? And who verifies their attendance? There are many questions to which even the health department probably does not have the answers.

The situation appears even more serious when a homeopathic treatment room is also present in the Ayushman Arogya Mandir. Local people allege that homeopathic doctors have been missing for years, but their attendance and salary are not affected. The surprising thing is that homeopathic medicines are also available, but due to lack of doctors, the public is not able to avail their benefits.

The biggest question is whether the responsibility of the health department is limited only to issuing appointment letters? Don’t officials need to know whether the appointed doctors are performing their duties or not? If doctors are not reaching the hospital then how is their presence being recorded?

This arrangement of Sonbhadra’s health department is leaving many questions. On one hand, the government is making claims of better health services in rural areas, while on the other hand, the absence of doctors and the health system relying on pharmacists seems to be exposing those claims.

Now it remains to be seen whether the concerned authorities take cognizance of this matter or everything will continue on paper as before. Now it remains to be seen what action will be taken against the missing homeopathic and allopathic doctors?

After the issue of absence of doctors in Sangobandh Ayushman Arogya Mandir came to light, now people’s eyes are fixed on the health department. Villagers allege that both allopathic and homeopathic doctors are not seen in the hospital for a long time, whereas in allopathic, the treatment of patients is going on relying on other employees. When an attempt was made to know their side, no concrete answer was given by the said pharmacist and another employee.

Local people say that if the doctors are not actually attending their duty then how is their attendance being recorded and on what basis are their salaries being paid? This is a matter of investigation.

There is discussion among the villagers whether the health department will take any concrete action in this matter or the matter will be limited to investigation and paperwork. People say that if there had been regular inspection, perhaps such a situation would not have arisen.

Now the biggest question is whether the responsibility of homeopathic and allopathic doctors who are said to be missing for years will be fixed or not? Will the department investigate their attendance, functioning and salary payments? Or will the villagers have to continue waiting for doctors? The public is now waiting for the health department’s response and action.

Mayorpur CHC Superintendent’s side –

In this matter, Myorpur Superintendent said that roster duty of doctors has been prepared and sent to the CMO office. If a doctor is not present on his duty, his presence will not be recorded and action will be taken as per rules. regarding this Chief Medical Officer It has been assured that the matter will be investigated and action will be taken as per rules. There itself District Homeopathic Medical Officer Said that the matter will be investigated and action will be taken. The biggest question is that the doctor is missing, now waiting for action!

The biggest question in people’s minds-

Whose attendance, who is doing duty?

When will the blame fall on the doctors missing in Sangobandh?

The public is asking the question, when will the health department answer?

If you are not a doctor, then what is the salary worth?
