There has never been anything like Doctors made in India till now. With this show , we have gone as close to reality as possible, and that is what the Indian OTT or entertainment circuit needed.
He said that this series is completely dedicated to doctors. “After watching Doctors, people can change their view of the medical profession. While we often admire or criticize doctors, we rarely see what's really going on in their lives, Sharad said.
Talking about how the show appeals to all audiences, he said: “It's not just for mature audiences; it's for everyone, especially the younger generation. It's what drives some people to study medicine. Can even inspire. The authenticity of the show makes it different.
Real doctors were on set every day, teaching us little things, whether it was medical terminology, procedures or even how to portray doctors correctly. His involvement was not limited to the set, he was also present during the editing process.”
Sharad said that it was a refreshing experience for him to play the role of a neurosurgeon with such an interesting story. “We underwent rigorous training with two highly skilled doctors, who helped us understand basic medical terminology and behave and look like doctors. That training was very important, and we thoroughly enjoyed the process, becoming doctors among doctors.” Playing the role was a fun and rewarding experience. “Doctors” will be streamed exclusively on JioCinema from December 27.
