Mumbai Now a new twist has come in the ‘Don 3’ controversy. Producer TP Aggarwal reached Bombay Court and also challenged the order of Federation of Western India Cine Employees. The ongoing dispute between Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar regarding the film ‘Don 3’ has now turned into a legal battle. Veteran producer TP Aggarwal has approached Mumbai’s Dindoshi Civil Court in protest against the ‘Non-Cooperation Order’ issued against Ranveer Singh by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).

Main legal arguments
Former Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association president TP Aggarwal has said in his petition that no trade body or organization has the legal right to ban any artist or direct others not to work with him. However, the court has issued notice to FWICE and IMPPA in this matter. Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment has filed a lawsuit of Rs 45 crore for the loss caused by Ranveer suddenly leaving the project. According to reports, the patch-up offer given by Ranveer Singh (which included an offer to work in Farhan or Zoya Akhtar’s next film) has been completely rejected by the makers.
