Trump’s statement at the rally
Donald Trump said during the rally, “Today we have also brought our superstar Caroline with us. Isn’t she amazing? Is Caroline really amazing?” Trump asked the applauding crowd. He then added, “You know, when she comes on television, Fox News takes over. When she comes on stage with that beautiful face and those lips that keep beating, like there’s a little machine gun going off.”
Trump further said, “He has no fear. Because we have the right policy. We don’t have men in women’s sports, we don’t have to sell transgender to everyone and we don’t have to sell open borders, so his job has become a little easier. I would not want to be the press secretary of the other party.”
Trump has made such comments before also
Trump made similar comments about Caroline during an interview with Newsmax in August. He said, “It’s her face. It’s her mind. It’s her lips, the way they move. They move like she’s a machine gun. I don’t think anyone has ever had a better press secretary than Caroline.”
Who is Caroline Levitt?
Leavitt served as assistant press secretary in Trump’s first administration from 2019 to 2021. Leavitt, a New Hampshire native, is married to real estate developer Nicholas Riccio, 60, and they have a son, Nico. After failing in the Congressional election, she returned to the White House in January and became the youngest press secretary in history. Leavitt is the fifth person to become Trump’s press secretary and the first person in his second term.
