However, President Trump rejected all these rumors outright. While talking to journalists in Air Force One, he clarified that he is completely healthy. He described the scar as the result of a simple accident.

According to medical science, aspirin thins the blood, making the skin more sensitive and even minor cuts or bumps can cause dark blue marks. Trump said that this is necessary for good blood flow in my heart. Aspirin protects the heart, but sometimes small scars like these are a side effect.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt also confirmed the incident and said that the mark was caused by an injury. The officials tried to prove that this was not an old disease but a fresh injury by sharing pictures before and after the incident.

Meanwhile, Trump’s personal physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, confirmed that 325 milligrams of aspirin is part of his standard treatment. However, institutions such as the Mayo Clinic believe that a dose of 75 to 100 mg is usually sufficient for heart protection, while higher doses increase the risk of bleeding and bruising.
