According to medical science, aspirin thins the blood, making the skin more sensitive and even minor cuts or bumps can cause dark blue marks. Trump said that this is necessary for good blood flow in my heart. Aspirin protects the heart, but sometimes small scars like these are a side effect.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt also confirmed the incident and said that the mark was caused by an injury. The officials tried to prove that this was not an old disease but a fresh injury by sharing pictures before and after the incident.
