The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry has officially announced that US President Donald Trump will pay a state visit to China from May 13 to May 15. This three-day visit, being held on the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, is being considered to give a new direction to the relations between the two countries.

Main purpose of travel

This visit is an effort to strengthen diplomatic dialogue between the two countries. At the international level, there have been differences between America and China on many issues. In such a situation, the Trump-Xi meeting is being called ‘super-meeting’.
