One report suggested that Trump received positive support at the beginning of his second term, but his ratings declined rapidly over time. Compared with history, at present the rating of any American President has not been so low. Trump’s popularity is said to be lower than that of former presidents like Joe Biden, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.

According to a Fox News survey released on March 26, only 41 percent people are satisfied with Trump’s performance, while 59 percent expressed dissatisfaction. This figure shows the highest rejection in both his tenures. A decline in support has also been seen at the party level. His support among Republican supporters has dropped to 84 percent, which was 92 percent in March last year. At the same time, 95 percent of Democratic supporters have expressed dissatisfaction.

The situation was also weak among independent voters, where only 25 percent supported Trump, while 75 percent were against him. The University of Massachusetts Amherst survey, published by The Hill, recorded Trump’s approval rating at 33 percent and disapproval at 62 percent. Of these, 53 percent people expressed strong displeasure. Trump has also received less support on issues related to Iran. According to the survey, only 29 percent people agree with his decisions, while 63 percent people disagree.
