President Donald Trump’s decision: Ever since taking oath as the 47th President of America, Donald Trump has been taking rash decisions. He has surprised everyone with his decision to withdraw from WHO, impose tariffs on Canada and withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement. In this series, Trump has given a big order against illegal immigrants. Due to which approximately 7,25,000 Indians may have to face deportation from America.

According to reports, US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order related to illegal immigrants living in America. Under this order, action is being taken against lakhs of foreign citizens with illegal or temporary documents, which includes Indians. According to Pew Research report, Indians are the third largest group of illegal immigrants. Many of these people are living in Florida, Texas, New York, and New Jersey. These Indian citizens may come under the scope of action under this order of Trump, they are at risk of deportation from America.

The Trump Administration has permitted local law enforcement agencies to investigate, arrest, and detain foreign nationals under Homeland Security under 287(G) agreements. This decision emphasizes the role of local agencies in identification and action against illegal immigrants. Let us tell you that President Trump has declared illegal immigrants a national emergency, calling them a threat to national security. He believes that his primary responsibility is to protect the American people from the dangers of illegal immigration.

On the other hand, President Trump has also signed the order to abolish Birthright Citizenship, due to which children born in America used to get citizenship there. This change in policy can have a big impact on the immigrant communities of other countries including India.
