Hundreds of police officers raided four unlicensed bars in Bien Hoa City of Dong Nai Province, seizing illegal substances among patrons, and found dozens positive for narcotics use.

In the early hours of Sunday, narcotics and criminal investigators, along with riot police, conducted inspections at four establishments: Adm, Kosho, Vip Lounge, and Nation, all located in Bien Hoa City, the capital of Dong Nai Province, which borders Ho Chi Minh City.

These venues, which operate as food and beverage service providers, lacked proper licenses to function as bars or nightclubs.

As the police arrived, hundreds of patrons attempted to flee but were swiftly apprehended. Among the 625 people inspected, including 135 employees, authorities found 17 men and seven women who tested positive for drugs.

Police also identified six individuals suspected of organizing illegal drug use, and one young man was caught in possession of drugs and facilitating their use.

Authorities also noted that the four establishments had violated multiple fire safety regulations.
