Sanganer Sadar Police Station Officer Anil Jaiman said that the deceased has been identified as Sanju Sharma (28), resident of Shiksha Sagar Colony, Govindpura.

He told that a wedding program was going on in the neighboring farm on Tuesday. At around 11 pm, 6-7 boys were drinking alcohol outside Sanju’s brother’s grocery shop. Seeing the boys drinking, his brother Abhishek interrupted them, on which the boys left from there, but after some time the boys came back and started pelting stones at Sanju’s house.

The police station officer said, Sanju had gone out of the house to pacify the boys, when the boys found him alone and started a fight with him and attacked him with a sharp weapon. He told that the boys ran away after attacking with stones and sticks.

He told that the boys also beat up the family members who had gone to save Sanju, due to which four people were injured, who were given first aid. Anil told that the family admitted Sanju to Sawai Mansingh Hospital in a bleeding condition, where he died during treatment on Wednesday morning. He told that the deceased’s father Kailash Sharma has registered a case of murder. The police officer said that some suspects are being detained and interrogated.
