‘Don’t just change the CM…’, Amit Shah told the real plan of Parivartan Yatra

Just before the West Bengal Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its campaign across the state. On Sunday, BJP national president Nitin Naveen flagged off the Parivartan Yatras. On Monday, senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached South 24 Parganas district to address a rally. On this occasion, he took on Mamata Banerjee and said that this Parivartan Yatra is not just to change the Chief Minister. Describing the plan of 9 visits, he said that this change means making Bengal free from infiltration and corruption.

Apart from Amit Shah, BJP President Nitin Naveen also reached West Bengal on Monday. He also fiercely cornered Mamata Banerjee and her Trinamool Congress. Let us tell you that before the elections, BJP is taking out Parivartan Yatra in the entire state. These journeys, starting from different places, will last more than 5 thousand kilometers. There are to be 63 big rallies and 282 small meetings. Finally, there will be a big rally at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata which will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

What is the purpose of the trips?

BJP’s aim is to corner the Bengal government through these rallies. In this, women’s safety, illegal infiltration, corruption, threat to national security, employment, rural development and other issues will be raised. BJP wants to reach out to 1 crore people through these rallies and yatras and connect with them.

While explaining the plan of Parivartan Yatra, Amit Shah said, ‘Today, Parivartan Yatra is starting from here. 9 yatras are to be launched across Bengal, out of which four have started yesterday. Our national president Mr. Nitin Naveen inaugurated it. Today the journey is starting from Malda, Hooghly, Bardhaman, North 24 Parganas and here (South 24 Parganas). These yatras are being taken out for change in Bengal. Mamta Didi says that this is a march for power. Our aim with the word ‘change’ is not to change the face of the Chief Minister, it is the people who will change. But change means making Bengal free from infiltration, making Bengal free from corruption.

Announcement of implementation of 7th Pay Commission in 45 days

Addressing the government employees of the state, Amit Shah said, ‘What did Mamata Didi do with all the government employees of the Bengal government? Government employees across the country have received the Seventh Pay Commission. Only the government employees of Bengal are getting the Sixth Pay Commission salary. Now the Eighth Pay Commission is being formed, but Mamata Didi has not given the Seventh Pay Commission to the government employees. Everyone, form BJP government. Within 45 days we will work on paying the salaries of the Seventh Pay Commission.

Attacking Mamata Banerjee on the pretext of Humayun Kabir, Amit Shah said, ‘Mamata ji, Babri Masjid is being rebuilt in Bengal under your rule. This Humayun, Kabir and Mamta are all pieces of the same bag. Mamata Banerjee is conspiring to build Babri Masjid by sending Humayun Kabir abroad. Mamata Banerjee’s TMC is not only to be removed from power, the people of Bengal will uproot them along with their roots. Bengal has been made a base for infiltrators. He has opposed CAA. If they had not protested, every Hindu refugee would have got citizenship. I want to tell all the Hindu refugees that you do not need to worry. There is a BJP government above, not a single Hindu refugee will lose his citizenship.

Big announcement on jobs

Raising the issue of jobs in West Bengal, Amit Shah said, ‘There has been no recruitment in Bengal for many years, due to which the youth have passed the age of appearing for the examination. There was no fault of the youth of Bengal in this. After the formation of BJP government, youth will also be given relaxation of 5 years in the age limit for jobs. BJP has brought good news for the youth. By December 2026, BJP will work to fill all the vacant government posts by giving jobs to the youth of Bengal without any discrimination and without bribes. They (Mamata government) canceled many government posts. Form the BJP government, within two months we will fill all the vacant posts and also the closed or canceled posts.

On the issue of illegal infiltrators, Amit Shah has said, ‘Bengal is a border state. It has a very long range. The Trinamool government cannot protect it. They have allowed infiltrators to enter unhindered. Now only their names have been struck off, so Mamata didi is starting to face problems. Mamta didi, be patient. Not just deleting names, after the BJP government comes to power, each and every infiltrator will be selectively thrown out of Bengal and the country.
