“Don’t want Jana Nayagan to be Vijay sir’s last film at all”: Actor Jeeva

Actor Jeeva with Thalapathy Vijay

Tamil actor Jeeva, who is basking in the success of Thalaivar Thambi Thalamaiyil, said that he does not want Jana Nayagan to be the last movie of Thalapathy Vijay.

Jeeva is busy promoting his latest outing, Thalaivar Thambi Thalamaiyil, which was released in the theaters on January 16. In a recent interview, the actor spoke about his bonding with Vijay and said that, like all his fans, he is also eagerly waiting for the release of Jana Nayagan.

“Everyone is waiting eagerly for Jana Nayagan. I’m also waiting with a lot of excitement. Our production house has made nearly seven or eight films with Vijay sir. Personally, I don’t want this to be Vijay sir’s last film at all. Maybe that’s why all these issues are happening. I truly wish he acts in many more films,” Jeeva told media.

Jeeva recalled his association with Vijay in Nanban and said, “We’ve grown up watching him. His dance, his fights, his action, his films, his performances. I’ve also acted alongside him in Nanban, which was a Pongal release. That was 14 years ago. After 14 years, for my anna, we as his ‘thambi’ have come again with another Pongal release.”

Talking about his bonding with him, Jeeva said, “People have always celebrated his films because we’ve been part of them. From Poove Unakkaga till now, we’ve continuously worked with him. His friendship means a lot to us. You would have seen in TTT the line ‘Thanks, Nanban’ and that was genuinely meant for him.”

Jeeva added, “The bond between him and me is something I honestly don’t know how to explain in words. One thing is certain. He will always have our support. And our support for him will always remain the same.”

However, Thalaivar Thambi Thalamaiyil had a good opening on Friday and is doing well at the box office. Jeeva took to his X account to thank his fans. He wrote, To all my people, Truly overwhelmed by the immense love and warmth showered on #ThalaivarThambiThalamaiyil.

Jeeva added, “Every message, every word of encouragement has touched me deeply. And yes, all the memes about me too. Extra loves to all edits They came with love, support, and they are making this journey even more special. Padam paarkum, paarka pogum akangalukum, en nanrigal. Conditions a follow panni, enjoy #TTT only in theaters.”
