America’s President Donald Trump created a stir across the world by writing just one line on Truth Social. ‘Tuesday, 8:00 PM Eastern Time!’ This means that the time limit for Iran to make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz is about to end. In such a situation, the eyes of the whole world are fixed on the possible events happening tonight.
The situation has become so tense that the situation seems to be changing every moment. America has attacked Iran’s Kharg Island, while Israel has also attacked many Iranian infrastructures. In response, Iran targeted petrochemical plants. Meanwhile, the round of talks, tension and threats continues.
How did this whole controversy start?
This confrontation started with Trump’s stern warning, in which he clearly said that ‘Tuesday will be ‘Power Plant Day’ and ‘Bridge Day’ in Iran, both together. Can the deadline be extended again?
This possibility is considered very low. Trump is using this deadline as a weapon to create pressure. Although, he has extended the deadline before also, but this time he clearly said that ‘Whatever is decided at 8 pm, will happen.’ Still an option is open. Proposal to impose duty on ships passing through Hormuz, which is being considered as a ‘Soft Exit’.
Can a deal be made at the last moment?
