Double lane road will be built in UP, great news for these 3 districts
News Desk. There is good news for three districts of Uttar Pradesh. The road from Dostpur to Bijethua Mahaveeran will be developed into double lane. At present this route is only single lane, which causes time and difficulty in commuting. With the double lane of this road, the journey of the devotees coming to visit the mythological place of Hanuman ji will become even easier.
Let us tell you that for the construction of this road, a budget of about Rs 37.5 crore was fixed for this project and the tender had also been issued. But now the government has canceled the tender and the budget has been increased to Rs 69.12 crore.
Road characteristics and planning
This road will be made 5.30 meters wide. Some side land will also be acquired during the road construction, and the affected farmers will be compensated. According to officials, the main reason for the increase in the cost of the road is that now other expenses including widening and land acquisition are also included. Compensation will be given to farmers at four times the circle rate.
This road will be developed as a link road connecting Lucknow-Varanasi National Highway to Purvanchal Expressway. With the construction of this route, devotees will be able to easily reach Ayodhya and Bijethua Mahaveeran directly via Dostpur-Ambedkar Nagar.
Development goal of Bijethua Mahaveeran
MLA Rajesh Gautam said that the development of Bijethua Mahaveeran is his main objective. His aim is also to give Nagar Panchayat status to Bijethua Corridor and Surapur. This road will be built at a cost of approximately Rs 70 crore and will prove to be the biggest road project in the assembly constituency.
This project will not only ease transportation but will also increase employment and compensation opportunities for local people and farmers. The construction of the road will also boost overall development and tourism in the area.
