Dr. Manmohan Singh's mortal remains kept at Congress office for last darshan; The last rites will be performed at Nigambodh Ghat.

Tributes to Dr. Manmohan Singh:The mortal remains of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been kept at the AICC headquarters today. Where well-known personalities of the country are arriving to pay their last respects and tributes. The last rites of the former Prime Minister will be performed at Nigambodh Ghat. Dr. Manmohan Singh died on 26 December at Delhi AIIMS.

Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh's wife Gursharan Kaur and his daughter Daman Singh paid their last tribute to him at the AICC headquarters. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also came to pay tribute to him. Congress MP KC Venugopal, Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, Ashok Gehlot and Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu paid tribute to late former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh at the AICC headquarters.

The last rites of Dr. Manmohan Singh will be performed today at 11.45 am with state honors at Nigambodh Ghat in New Delhi. According to reports, the Central Government has made it clear that a memorial of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be built. Soon the government will announce where the memorial will be built. The Congress President had written a letter to the Home Ministry for the memorial, in response to which Amit Shah himself gave this information to the families of Mallikarjun Kharge and Manmohan Singh.
