Nina eyes drowning Drew on General Hospital in latest recap

On Thursday, July 23, in the episode of General Hospital, a dangerous idea took shape in Nina’s mind regarding Drew. During the episode, Alexis, Michael, Nina, Willow, and Drew gathered to cheer on Scout as she began her first freshwater swim practice across the lake.

At one point, Nina and Willow slipped into the boathouse to discuss how quickly Drew’s condition is improving, which could spell trouble. Meanwhile, Jack is racing against time to recover the evidence from the black box and take down Drew. So, Nina advises Willow to run away with the kids. However, Willow remains adamant about finding help elsewhere if Brennan doesn’t deliver.

While Nina believed they could rely on Jack, Willow was repulsed when she deduced that her mother had slept with Brennan, beginning to doubt whether he should be trusted. Meanwhile, Alexis and Michael had a chat on the dock.

Alexis told Michael that she is holding out hope for Drew to be a better person for Scout’s sake after he recovers. However, Michael does not share the same belief. Drew, who was overhearing the conversation, clenched his fist after hearing Michael.

Soon after, Rocco arrived at the lake just as Scout successfully beat her desired time. After Rocco apologized for missing her practice, Drew promised to swim every day if he timed her.

Moments later, Scout wanted to show her father her progress, so she positioned Drew’s wheelchair to face the lake. When Alexis warned Scout not to get too close to the water, a deadly idea struck Nina about how she could get rid of Drew. She appears to be considering pushing Drew into the lake and drowning him. It remains to be seen whether she goes through with this cunning plan.
