Method of making fennel syrup

Material

2 teaspoon fennel seeds
Sugar or Mishri – 1–2 tbsp
Cold water-1 glass
Mint leaves-4–5
Lemon juice -½ tsp
some ice cubes

Method

To make fennel syrup, soak fennel in water for 2–3 hours (or overnight). Grind the soaked fennel in a mixer. Filter this paste and separate its water. Now add sugar or sugar candy in it and mix well. If desired, add mint leaves and lemon juice. Add ice and serve chilled.
