The mood of the weather in Delhi today seemed to be changing. There was light drizzle on Monday morning. There was less fog visible on the roads. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of Delhi today is expected to be 8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 20 degrees Celsius. Today the sky will remain cloudy the whole day. A drop of one or two degrees Celsius may be seen in the night temperature.
According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog can be seen on the roads of Delhi in the next two days i.e. on 24 and 25 December. IMD has also issued an alert regarding this. In these two days, the minimum temperature of Delhi will remain around 6 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature will remain around 22 degrees Celsius. However, light rain is expected on the next day of Christmas i.e. 26th December. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms on 27 and 28 December.
Chances of rain in Andhra Pradesh-Odisha
There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh during 23-26 December. Light to moderate rain is expected at some places in Odisha on 24-25 December. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall at many places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during 24-26 December. Issuing an alert, IMD said that fishermen are advised not to venture into the marine areas of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry during 23-26 December.
Weather will change in Rajasthan
According to IMD, another intense western disturbance is very likely to affect northwest India from the night of 26 December. Due to its effect, changes in weather may be seen in south-west Rajasthan and surrounding states on 27th December. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall during 26-28 December.
Cold wave alert issued in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh
There is a possibility of thunderstorm and hailstorm in north-west India on 27 to 28 December. There is a possibility of cold wave in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh during 23 to 26 December. A warning of dense fog has been issued in Himachal Pradesh on 23 December. An alert has been issued regarding cold wave in Punjab and Haryana during 23 to 25 December. Today and tomorrow, dense fog can be seen in the morning in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar.
How is the weather condition in Himachal Pradesh?
It is extremely cold in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of cold for three days in Bilaspur, Una, Hamirpur and Mandi districts. There is also a possibility of light rain and snowfall in the hilly areas. Tabo was the coldest in Himachal on Saturday, where a temperature of minus 11.6 degrees Celsius was recorded. At the same time, minus 4.6 degree Celsius temperature was recorded in Srinagar on Saturday night. The minimum temperature was minus 4.9 degrees Celsius recorded in Pahalgam.
