Dr. Pramod Anand Tiwari, BAMS, MD, Babe's Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Punjab, explained the medicinal properties of dry ginger. He said, “Singt is famous for its hot nature and medicinal properties. In Ayurveda, it is considered useful for improving digestion, curing cough and cold and removing toxins from the body.

He told, “The anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties found in dry ginger make it helpful in fighting many diseases. Dry ginger must be used in winter. It keeps the body away from cold-related diseases and boosts the body's immunity.” It also strengthens the immune system. You can drink dry ginger mixed with hot milk regularly in winter. Drinking it strengthens the body's immunity.

Dr. Pramod Anand Tiwari further said, “The problem of joint and bone pain often increases in winter. In such a situation, to get relief from this pain, if you drink dry ginger mixed with milk, then you get relief from pain. Milk with dry ginger.” It is also helpful in removing the deficiency of calcium and vitamin D in the body.
