The admission process for the academic session 2026-27 in Delhi University is progressing rapidly. According to the latest data released by the university, 41,473 candidates have applied till 5 pm on June 28 in the CSAS Phase-1 registration which started late night on June 26 for Undergraduate (UG) admission. Now the university will soon start Phase-2, in which students will be able to choose the course and college of their choice.
Selection of course and college will be done in Phase-2
After successful registration of CSAS Phase-1, the next phase will be very important for the candidates. During Phase-2, students will select courses and colleges as per their preference. The process of seat allotment will proceed on this basis.
Good participation of students in PG admission also
Enthusiasm of students has also been seen in postgraduate (PG) courses. After the completion of the two-phase admission process, so far 9,675 candidates have secured admission into the two-year PG programmes.
Of these, 4,926 students have frozen the allotted seats, while 3,745 candidates have opted for upgrade in the hope of getting better options. The university will also soon release the seat allotment timetable for mid-entry, third round and performance based programmes.
Status of B.Tech and Integrated Law
The admission process for the first round of B.Tech courses is underway. So far, 233 candidates have accepted the allotted seats, while 41 students have confirmed their seats by paying the admission fee. The last date for depositing the first round fees has been fixed as July 1, 2026.
At the same time, the process of third round is going on in five-year integrated law programs. Till now 105 candidates have secured admission. The last date for submission of fees for this round was fixed as June 30, 2026.
Pay special attention to deadlines
The university administration has appealed to all the candidates to complete all the necessary formalities including document verification, seat acceptance and fee deposit within the stipulated time frame, so that the admission process can be completed on time without any hindrance.
