DU UG admission 2024 spot round 1 allotment result declared; check here

New Delhi: The University of Delhi has released the DU UG admission 2024 spot round 1 seat allotment result today, September 21. Candidates can access and check the DU UG spot round 1 allotment result through the official website, admission.uod.ac.in. The necessary credentials such as the registration number and password are required to download the DU UG seat allotment letter. Along with the allotment result, the DU UG spot round 1 cut-off 2024 is also made available by the university.

As per the DU UG spot round 2024 schedule, candidates whose names are on the seat allotment list are required to accept the offer by September 22. The respective colleges will verify and approve the applications submitted by the candidates between September 21 to September 23. The last date to make the fee payment to secure the seats availed in the spot round is September 24 (by 4:59 PM).

The steps to check the DU UG spot round 1 seat allotment result is detailed below-

  • Step 1: Go to the official Delhi University admission portal at admission.uod.ac.in
  • Step 2: Click on the login window and enter the credentials.
  • Step 3: Once logged in, navigate to the section for ‘Spot Round 1 Seat Allotment Result.’
  • Step 4: Click on the link to view the seat allotment result.
  • Step 5: If allotted a seat, download the seat allotment letter for further use.
  • Step 6: Follow the instructions provided for further steps, such as fee payment and document verification, if a seat has been allotted.

Candidates need to accept the seat allotted in the spot round, as there is no option for upgradation or withdrawal after the spot round. Those who will fail to accept the allocated seat will not be eligibile for admission and will also be removed from the CSAS UG 2024 admission process.

The DU’s official notice reads,”It will be mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the seat allocated in a Spot round. Failure to accept the allocated seat in the Spot Admission round will forfeit the candidate’s eligibility for admission to UoD and s(he) will be out of CSAS(UG)-2024. There will be no option of ‘Upgrade’ and ‘Withdraw’ during the Spot Admission rounds”.
