The objective of this scheme is nutrition of newborn babies, nutrition of pregnant women, nutrition and awareness of adolescent girls, but due to the negligence of the government, this department is gradually ending. Whereas due to the implementation of the Government National Education Policy, these schools have to be operated under pre-nursery.
Due to which the age for admission of children in family schools in rural areas is fixed at 6 years in class one. The government believes that in the past, children are coming to Anganwadi centers after acquiring basic knowledge, whereas in reality the reality of Anganwadi is not hidden from anyone. . At present, a large number of Anganwadi centers in rural areas including towns are running in rented and dilapidated buildings. The lives of children in these dilapidated buildings are in danger. Anganwadi center is running on rent in village Kudri of Gram Sabha Lonhara, which is a very dilapidated building. It seems that instead of being an Anganwadi centre, animals are tied there.
The Anganwadi center of Gram Sabha Gauri Khalsa is very dilapidated, the doors are broken. Villagers tie animals in the building. This center is set up in a central government school, but Anganwadi workers never come here. The child development project has come to a complete standstill. The workers are not even provided furniture to sit at these centres. Basic facilities for children like sports material, TLM, weighing machine, teaching material, pure water for drinking, toilet etc. are not properly available. Due to lack of large number of Anganwadi workers, lack of buildings, lack of basic facilities, lack of proper monitoring, the ground reality of the Child Development Nutrition Department is quite pathetic.
