13 year old rape victim gives birth to a baby girl, first the newborn then the minor both died

Rajasthan: A shocking and disturbing case has come to light from Dungarpur, Rajasthan. Here a 13 year old minor rape victim had a pre-mature delivery. The victim gave birth to a dead baby girl, but shortly thereafter the minor also lost his life. The victim's family did not file any report regarding the rape due to fear of public shame. Now a case has been registered after the death of the rape victim and the newborn.

Sadar police station officer Harendra Sauda said that the 13-year-old rape victim, resident of the police station area, was pregnant and at 6 pm on Tuesday, the victim suddenly started having stomach pain. The family members immediately brought him to Dungarpur District Hospital. After examination, the doctor admitted him to MCH. Where at around 11 pm the minor gave birth to an 8-month-old premature baby girl, but she was born dead. On the complaint of family members, a case of rape has been registered against a young man living in the neighbourhood. Arrest will be made soon.

He told that the minor also died at around 11:30, half an hour after delivery. On information, Sadar police station reached the spot and took information about the incident. After this, a case was registered on the report of the family members and postmortem of both the bodies was done late on Wednesday evening and handed over to the family members.
